Laurie L. Young
I began as a graphic designer and writer, working for small book publishers in Los Angeles and Orange County. My career expanded to include larger publishers and entertainment companies, such as Mattel, DreamWorks, and Printers Row Publishing. My passion is to combine my refined aesthetic and technical skills to create beautiful, useful things across a range of formats and platforms.
When I’m not obsessing over design, I write novels for kids 8-12 and picture books for all ages. I volunteer with Reading to Kids and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
